...AGAIN.
Seriously, WTF!? The game is near 100% completion and they are delaying it again. The fans won't stand for this!! I have been waiting patiently for SSBB since 2006. I eagerly awaited December 3rd, and a growing excitement built as the date neared.
And then they announced a two month delay. But they revealed Sonic, as a sort of collateral. The wounds healed, and we took up the mantra "A delayed game is eventually good; a rushed game is forever bad." We sucked it up and waited, hoping they were tweaking and balancing, adding and perfecting. Honestly, my excitement for the game started to wane. They announced no new characters for two months, with updates often as crappy as "Hey! Check out the Options menu! Isn't that great!?"

Fuck. Nintendo can't just do this. They're losing a lot of respect and credibility for all these delays! I can understand taking time to make a game the best it can be, but don't delude yourself (and your faithful fans) and promise a deadline you can't complete! I know Legend of Zelda was delayed by almost a whole year, and it (EVENTUALLY) won Game of the Year and almost perfect 10s across the board.
"A delayed game is eventually good, a rushed game is forever bad"
This better be the best game of all time.
...
Of course it won't be; It can't be. And do you know why? Because some brainless shooter will come out on another platform closer to Christmas, score perfect 10s (despite the fact that, you know, it's just another shooting game), and snag GotY. I hate the world...

Agreed.

well...I wish I could get brawl...but I don't even have the platform it is on. I know that waiting makes things better...and I dunno why they started not getting their deadlines met...which really they use to, but now are being bleh about it. I think it is because all the licenses they have to get. It reminds me of when they delayed KH2 for PS2...they had to have Disney let them use the copyright to Mickey...and such...Disney is like all in a bunch about copyright on their main character. x_x

So maybe it took Nintendo sometime because of copyright issues with some companies..or something going wrong with the game in general.
