You're going to increase the risk of theft if you just stay at DA, though.
Srsly, it's like the art thieve capitol.
It's well known, easy to steal stuffs, and the large number of members insure that they can get away with it easier, or find someone un-popular so no-one but the artist will know it's been stolen.
It's also worse if you stay in one place.
Where if you had multiple galleries you'd be known more for your art and more people will know who's is whose and it'd be more convincing when you report someone for theft.
It has been known that a thieve can steal an artist's work and have it in multiple galleries.
The result is that the thieve appears more creditable than the artist.
No matter what you do you will always have to deal with them, though. Still, running to DA seems like the hypocritical answer.
