I'm trying my best to make my loooong journal short, so here are some cliff notes from the long journal that I posted on my DeviantArt- if you want the full thing, head over there!

Long time no type guys! How has everyone been? Good I hope. Hope everyone had a blessed holiday! I've got a lot to catch up on, so bear with me! I'm going to try to get all that loooooong into one tiny short!

I guess I'll start at the beginning.
When I last wrote a journal, it was the week before finals, wasn't it? Finals went okay, except for my Nutritional Chemistry final, but enough about that. All my other finals went well.

Work of course was destined to pick up because of Christmas.
But then suddenly... Everything got crazy.
My evil boss... got transfered to a different store! That's right, the ONE thing that made me hate my job is gone! So now I'm being given fair hours and being treated like an actual team member by our assistant manager (who's trying to apply to be our real manager).
I was even offered a key-holder position, but I had to turn it down because of availability issues.

But of course, I have to talk about Christmas!
I had a really great Christmas- besides the fact that I got a lot of great gifts, I also GAVE a lot of great ones, spent a lot of time with my family, and got to see almost all of my friends.
I got a lot of really great gifts and gift art from my friends and family, but there was one gift that I wasn't expecting...
A tablet! That's right folks, I got a tablet. And with the tablet came Photoshop essentials and Corel Painter Essentials. Sure, they aren't the FULL programs, but hey, they are more then I could have ever hoped for. I've been goofing around in the programs- I still have yet to master the tablet, but worse comes to worst, the tablet also came with a mouse :3 And we all know I've already mastered the mouse.

I actually managed to draw some art, which I'll try to post today.
As usual, I sent out a lot of holiday packages for my friends- I've heard from just about everyone, and I already know that a few people are already enjoying the knittting I did for them. With the exception of Risha's hat, I didn't get the chance to take any pictures of the knitting I did before I sent it, though :< So at least you won't have to suffer through a million photo uploads, lol.
I wanted to knit something for all my friends, but I just didn't have the time for it D:

The one thing I DIDN'T want that I got was the flu!
That's right- I've been battling the flu, and flu like symptoms, my entire vacation. I was even sick on Christmas day. Today, I have no voice at all, and yesterday, my voice kept squeaking all over the place.
It's okay though, don't worry about me. I'm feeling great today, despite the fact that I have no voice. Work gave me three days off to go on vacation, so I'm spending today. tomorrow, and Tuesday doing nothing but laying around and recovering down here in Newport Beach.

That's right, I'm back in Newport.
Hence the posting- wi-fi down here for my laptop!
I'm hoping the ocean air will clear up my congestion. If not, I'll have to go back to work sick- which I don't really want to do.

Well, that's all I really had to say... God that was a lot.
I hope you managed to wade through all of that!

I'm not back to "normal" yet, obviously, since I'm not back in school, but I just thought I'd get on and fill you in on my life!
