Is it just me, or has anyone else noticed there has been a general decline in the quality of NG flashes? I just finished a rather long-winded review on today's Daily 2nd,
here, and it's made me think "NG really has become some kind of shithole." I don't mean to say there aren't some really great artists on NG, and that there isn't great stuff on NG, but flashes like this one are exactly why I don't release anything I animate to NG, or scan/colour most anything I draw nowadays, or post any art on SA. You submit work when its polished and shows that you've got either talent, or put hard work into making something good and of decent quality (or both). Flashes like the above mentioned are good if you're kinda getting to the ropes, but by no means should they be on the frontpage.
I mean, over 9000 of NG submissions are humor/have humourous undertones. But this isn't a place for animated monologues. What happened to the days when art in Flash was considered important enough that decent animation was required for a flash to get onto the frontpage?

I stopped going there after my fisrt and only animation piece was submitted (my part in the violent porno collab), simply becouse I then noticed the ammount of ignorant, immature faggots who go there.
Good luck finding a place with standards for their submissions, nowadays everyone is too inclined to say "Well, y'know what, everyone has to start off somewhere ZOMG KAWAII ^___________^ THATS SO CHIBI CUUUUUTE LOLOLKOL!!!11!".
Take this place for example, I stopped coming becouse I was tired of going through shitty art and seeing everyone cuming over it, and telling people how good they where when they were actually mediocre fucks.

I think it's because there was a large group of relatively talented animators, who all came around the same time, and left the same time. Since then, there really hasn't been anyone to fill the void.
