Two students who attend my school, both seniors, both of which I know, died within 6 days of each other. One of them, Evan Welch, died last Sunday morning. Then last night, Eric Messick died. Both were due to car accidents, both weren't the drivers of the vehicle. There were two other kids who go to my school that were in the same car as Evan. The driver was drunk, and the other kid who was in the passenger seat was in my gym class. He's still in the hospital right now and is recovering from multiple surgeries. The driver of the car that Eric was in is also in the hospital. He wasn't drunk, the accident wasn't his fault, it was some other driver who crossed over the double yellow line into their lane. I know the driver of the car that Eric was in as well. I was pretty good friends with him. It's a really hard time for me considering I haven't had to deal with a death before. Ever. Not a grandparent, parent, brother, sister, or even a pet.
I'm just really devastated right now, as is the rest of my school.

dealing with death is a very hard thing to do
but the thing that is always hard is the first time someone has died (like in your case)
it will be difficult to deal with the first time, but things will be better later on c:

Jesus that blows man. I had to deal with two of my close friends dying. Both were from drug overdoses. No matter how used you think you are to death, things like this still catch you off-guard. I'm sorry for your pain.

I love you. You know I am here for you, feel free to come over anytime and my parents already love you so it isnt a problem. I hope kids at school start being more respectful, I am thinking about writing a letter to adminstration voicing my opinion on how I think they could be dealing with this, so I'll ttyl about that to you later. I hope things start to get better, I know this is really hard
