Alright, this is awesome. For those of you who don't know, I'm a krasnoarmayets (line soldier) with the 37th Guards Rifles Division, a World War II re-enacting unit. We do Red Army mid-war, from 1942-1945. Tomorrow I'm getting my greatcoat, an accurate enlisted man's coat. If you've never worn a greatcoat, you are missing out. They're heavy, snug, and really warm. Quite possibly the most comfortable piece of outerwear I've ever experienced. Tomorrow I'm getting mine for the low, low price of $40. But wait, this gets better. Next summer I'll be the 37th's political officer, and I'd need an officer's coat for that. The captain of my unit has agreed to trade me his officer's coat for my enlisted man's coat. This is a huge bargain, because the officer's coat costs $200 and looks awesomer than the enlisted man's, with all the comforts. I'm pretty psyched.

Good god, $40? Then tradeing it off for an OFFICER'S coat? You gotta be one of the luckest people right now.
