Currently on family laptop since the main computer's been acting funny. Frozen screen, suddenly turning off, and now the monitor occasionally doesn't feel like working while my computer makes next to no noise. no whurrs or humms or anything. Which is mildly distressing...
I've got Flash and Photoshop on that computer, along with the most recent (haha good one) .fla of Silent Hill 2: CE2, which I think a lot of which hasn't been backed up.... hm.
Well... on the bright side, the lack of computer, MMO's, Skype, and all that has let me focus more on stuff that needs to get done. Driving, job, scholarships, all that fun stuff...
Hm.. I really have been putting off animation. I only see the Silent Hill sequel as a secondary project, but my need to meet expectations of people who liked the first one makes me go "Kay, we're not doing anything until this gets done," however since I only kinda wanna work on the sequel, it, along with everything planned after it, gets pushed back into Animation Purgatory. Maybe karma decided to bite me in the ass for all this by killing the computer. Nice one, karma.
..Oh, well. We'll see where this situation goes. We plan on taking it to Dell since I practically went over the entirety of the software with a cotton swab, wiping out the bugs, cleaning out the recycling bins and temp folders, defragging, and yet the problem is around, so I think it's the hardware. She's a rusty machine, she is. Rusty, but still deeply important.
Catch you later.
EDIT: Little update.. the monitor is glitched up about 8 ways from sunday.. although I saved the .fla's to a disk, animating is more or less an exciting new brand of impossible until we get everything fixed. Sorry guys.
