ALIVE!

Heyhey *waves* :) I thought id do a lil 'about me' post, cause im hoping to become more active on DA nows :)

Im a 23 yr old zoology student, attending college in Cork, Ireland. Im in my fourth year now, so yay for the lack of time and manic work load. But its a fun course, with fieldtrips all over ireland several times a year, and a few to europe. Oh! And theres dissections hee! Which is fun FUN fun if you love blood and guts as much as i do

Ive loved animals pretty much my whole life, and have never not had a pet of some kind. heh. Even in my college accommodation ive somehow managed to collect 3 ratties, a goldfish and a wee hampster lol! I dont know how it happens i swear!
Ive also got a lil maltese, called Pip, and an aviary of about 30 birds [it varies heh], mostly made up of finches and waxbills. All these critters are back at my parents house in Wexford, and i try to go home twice a month for pettins.

Im one of those people who seem all quiet and meek when you first meet em, but soon realise they're actually..er ... not all that calm lol! Some of my hobbies include quadding [though not so much anymore :(], archery, photography, arsin around with friends [nothin like it lol] and im also learning to play the tabla drums. I used to horseride too ,but had to stop when i started college cause of the cost. le sigh. Im SO gonna start up again though once i can afford it. OH! And i volunteer at the local dog rehoming centre.. er if that classes as a hobbie.

Art wise i looove anything animal. Though the mythical side of things draws me bigtime Ive had this DA account for a while now, but have been holding back posting cause its taken me till now to learn enough about photoshop to actually use it lol! Its an amazing program *bows* but more than a bit whoa when youre starting out.

Strangely, it was photomanipping fanart that taught me most of what i know about ps now, and enabled me to start making digital art that doesnt look kinda like a pen threw up *giggles*.
