HEY GUYS. I'M DOING A BIT OF AN ANNOYING SENIOR PROJECT AND I NEED SOME OPINIONS TO WRITE THE PAPER. HELP ME OUT OKAY?

So anyways what I'm writing about is Realism v.s. Romanticism. But most information on this subject is opinions so it's really hard to get the right information to write this paper. What I really could use though, is your opinion. I'm hoping to get a lot of opinions for this but I do need to start now.

So write to me about you opinions on the two styles, what you like best, and what you may/may not like about the other. I need as many as possible and as much information as I can get.

I will ask first before I quote you in my paper of corse. And take your time please :3

Thank You Very Much and I hope to hear from you all soon.

Hmmm...lessee...I'd say Romanticism I like better, because of the way it flows. It's a gentle way of writing. Realism seems to strict to me--it seems to dictate how the world should be rather than how it could be. O.o Did that help at all? I hope so...

Rego Says:

Often Romanticism is an artistic and intellectual movement originating in Europe in the late 18th century and characterized by a heightened interest in nature, emphasis on the individual's expression of emotion and imagination, departure from the attitudes and forms of classicism, and rebellion against established social rules and conventions. While Realism is a theory of writing in which the ordinary, familiar, or mundane aspects of life are represented in a straightforward or matter-of-fact manner that is presumed to reflect life as it actually is.

Both can be used is a very interested way if tweaked to the right degree. While Romanticism tends to enthrall more people than Realism does, both have an alluring tendency to them. Take for instance Jane Austin with her book Pride and Prejudice. That is an example of Realism, while my mother's vampiric love novels are an example of Romanticism. I love Jane Austin, but I also love my mother's books. As long as it is a well written novel that appeals to me, then I am very indifferent.

When do you need this by? I have every intention of helping you but right now I can hardly read... *sick*
