Seriously, though, it was pretty good. In fact, so good that I could forget that I hated Ratchet's design. But not so good that I could forget that Starscream had a shit design.
Action, spot-on. Story, pretty good. The only real flaw is that most of the decepticons don't even get much of a personality. Maybe if they had a few Decepticon-only scenes, like they did for the Autobots, there might be a bit more depth for the bad guys, rather than them just being something to shoot at.
still, the movie is recommended. Can't wait for the next one

Seriously it was the transformers movie and the stupid little boy and his girlfriend had NO PLACE, NO PLACE IN THAT MOVIE I SAY.
However the explosions and the robots and the SMASHY SMASHY was wicked awesome cool stuff god the CGI was so incredibly AWESOME, but yeah they needed to have like scenes where starscream and megatron bicker and stuff, ROLL ON THE SEQUEL.

I agree, Not enough Decepticon scenes, but overall it was a good movie and I think the personalities were fitting. I didn't expect it to be G1 so I wasn't disappointed, and it made for a good movie. I too, hope to see a sequel, I just hope it doesn't turn out poorly as many sequels do.

A lot of shows seem to have a hard time giving the villians time to develop recently. It still sounds like I want to go see this one though
