I remember that I did manage to record some report in the news on television. This report concerns of teenagers or young adults desire for fame, but I am not sure why is it a desire to them . . . or why is it infectious and influence others, like myself. This report reflects back as far as people begin to acquired individual talents. It also reflects what might be a spark of this, and why a lot of people wanted global attention, and others feel the need to idolize them.

This report first started with the "so-called" everlasting talent show, "American Idol" (in the US, of course. There is "Pop Idol" in UK, and other names in different regions of this blue marble). Contestants with singing abilities compete for a record deal and a million dollars that goes with it. It is what it is, a talent show and nothing more. No inspire revelation, no quality improvement for a better tomorrow. Just a talent show with bling-bling, lots of people, and a camera that teleports them to TV land. Still, that does not stop them for ever believing that they are special just because they have talent. True, they are special. Their talent is as unique as the snow, different if each other, but not any worser from each other. Unfortunately, it seems like it is a need to compare and compete their talent as if they are devote to rip each other apart all in the name of a record deal and a chance for recognition.

Afterwards, there is a report on teenagers "need" to become a celebrities' assistant. I do not understand why people willing want to become give up their life as an individual and to submit as a lackey for Hollywood's residents. Perhaps the next paragraph will demonstrate it better.

Hello and welcome to the next paragraph! There was a harmless experiment with chimpanzees, our closest relative. In this, the chimps was given pictures of anything they can recognize. One in which was food. Sadly, not many has respond to it. Only sad because eating maintains life, therefore, it is vital for survival. Another picture is the jungle, their home. Again, not much stimulus. As a last resort, there is a picture of a chimp, more specially, the dominate chimp. Almost every chimp pays attention to this image as if it is a need to worship them! Even if the scientist hands them some food, they will still surround themselves around the image. Is this an animal trait we cannot let go, a need for fame and a need to idolize famous people?

From what I can understand, teenagers wanted to work as an assistant to a celebrity is because for bragging rights. They want to know more about their celebrity they are working for, the phone number, the relations, the offer, everything! Mainly, they want to be friends with their boss. So, most people would think they know a person just by seeing one in any mass media (tv shows, movies, video games, radio, or just about everything). It is no wonder why I feel the need for some global recognition. A stupid idea, but I am getting ahead of myself.

I do believe in positive role models. I believe that their role in society is to guide their audience into a better life and improve their life under life's difficulties. I believe that they help others proceed to a better future by giving them advices that may change their aspect of their well-being for the future. I believe positive role models are knowledgeable and willing to tutor anyone who needs help on dealing with personal issues. I also believe positive role models are an influence in their own life to people as well as they preach to them.

To believe celebrities and other well-known people are positive role models is practically a joke. But if we were to treat this idea seriously, what can we learn from them? Is it okay to attack a car with an umbrella for as long as you make tons of money and have people knowing you by your name? Is it okay to drive under the influence and with a suspended license for as long as you have recognition and make lots of money? If there is a mental illness doctors want to create, then global fame should be that.

Here is reality slapping you in the butt! Celebrities are nothing more than prisoners! No matter what kind of celebrities they are, they are still prisoners, or even an exhibit at the zoo called whatever place they are recognized. They are freaks in a freak show! They exist mainly because money exist. They endure hardship, suffering, everything that they do not like, all because of the millions of President Washingtons they can have. This is no coincidence that many celebrities break down. Are you sure you wanted to torture yourself all in the name of fame? Are you sure you are not mistaken for something you wanted to have?

Why do people suddenly become recognized to millions? I am afraid this will disappoint a lot of people when I answer it. Being a celebrity requires about 95% luck. I am not sure how many percentage there is in skill, but I know skill is a part of it. If global recognition is what you want, you better kiss it up with Lady Luck. If you want your name in history or encyclopedias, have luck on your side. It is not crazy to assume that "American Idol" should have a probability rate. And it is safe to assume that the probability will change depending on the population of participants.

Perhaps this is not the issue. Perhaps what you really care about is higher authority, for people to trust you, to have the same qualities and privilege as the celebrities. Do you believe that is a better life? Submit to your approval that you are famous and respect. Unfortunately, you are so recognized that you became an easy target for an assassin. Therefore, you hired bodyguards and lawyers, not just ordinary bodyguards and lawyers, but well-known and masters of their line of work. However, they were mysteriously killed. So, you hire some more, and they were killed yet some more. You even resort to having your fans to protect you. You continue to do this until you either ran out of money or people. Your agent requested that you should move into a different setting, where you are safe and no one but celebrities will spot you. You take the offer fly on your private jumbo jet to that place. It is a wonderfully built mansion, full of anything beautiful. It is quite large as if 50 elephants can fit in the living room. This place is a labyrinth, so much to do for so little time. In fact, there are other celebrities who may or may not be friends with you (ahead of myself). Unfortunately, this place and the surrounds resemble that if a hamster cage, although it is guarantee you are safe, there is no place to run and no place to hide, the fate of global recognition. Is that what your life's story to be?

Perhaps it is the thought about death that triggers some of you, because you know you cannot do anything if you are dead. You would like to be remembered before you die. You want for someone to remember you long after your demise. Though it is good to die happy, it is very promising and rewarding to die satisfied.

Again, luck is on your side if you want to die remembered and happy, just as to gain attention to the entire world. But there is a guarantee way to earn respect, a guarantee way to become recognized. It requires your participation with no luck involved. Here is how you do it!

Make friends! That is right! You should have someone to count to, someone who admires you for who you are. If you have talent, show it to your friend, and he or she will support you. Your friend is your ultimate fan, loyal and always there to support you.

And if you believe your fans can be your friends, believe again. Most of the celebrities are egoistic and will not submit an "outsider" as a friend. Also, most of your fans likes you for your talent and money. They don't give a damn about you!

For more than a decade, I was to believe that having my name in Hollywood or in history will guarantee myself to be remembered, since I do not have a nuclear family, no siblings, I have abusive parents, and I live my life as an independent since the age of sixteen. I was very afraid that no one will sing out about my life, as if I never been born. However, it is not the case for me!

Though I will never have the star treatment or become famous in the Internet, my life will never be forgotten, because I have someone there for me . . . MY FRIENDS!!

If you want to know who is the best positive role model, I will tell you. It is your friends! Don't have one? Then you have not follow the first rule, participation! Join clubs, post a lot, represent yourself! Though you may never become famous just by showing off your talent, as least you should be proud that you have friends to rely!

If you base your life on celebrities because they are successful, then you are denying yourself. That is right! Don't base your life on Oprah Winfred or any celeb from Hollywood or not! Base it on yourself! Be yourself to become successful, or at least satisfied! No one, not even famous people, can oppress you for acting what your heart desires! You have the right to be yourself, and you have the right to believe in yourself!! If someone is doing that, even if it is in court, tell all of them to TOLERATE IT, YOU WHINY BABIES!!

If you want respect and recognition, have dignity and independence to yourself! You are someone no one can duplicate. It is not that no one refuses to duplicate. Even if you have someone who can draw anime and video game characters to near perfection, there is one this that artist can never ever duplicate . . . your soul!

What if I cannot be a celebrity? You never thought what if I do not care about being famous? I am satisfied being an unsung hero, only recognized by my friends! I believe there is an unsung-hero hunter who hunts down fragments of my life. Would that be more involving and fun than being recognized as a household name? I am like Bigfoot, I exist, I am everywhere, and no one is gotten me so far as shaking my hand!

Perhaps, this speech I typed for myself may attract celebrities. It all matters if Lady Luck is with me.

. . .

But, I may turn her down to a more cuter girl!

You sure typed alot in this one. Those words do have some positive value. And I know celeberties have it hard too. You really made a point saying "Be yourself and believe yourself." I read it all and really liked it.
