do i need to paint it on the wall or something

well that yule tidest of occassions has come at last.
and this mean the gathering shall comenceth.
soon I shall be surrounded by the most jolly hohoest of creatures you should never see.

In preperation for their coming, i have readied the homestead,by placing circular green wards upon the doors, long strands of flashing lights across both entrence and the portculis (that i might blind them their coming), and of course raising a mighty arbor alter covered in trinkets soeth they may be distracted by the shineys long enough for my escape.
