Top Ten Websites to Visit:

Okay, so it's nutrition related, but any artist can appreciate the awesome retro theme the website has. Be sure to play "Whack a Snack" to strike back hunger! Mwahaha! Plus, great recipes which are easy and fun to make!
2.
The Daily Plate - http://www.thedailyplate.com/
Again, nutrition related, but they have great message boards and even all the nutritional information of restaurant foods. Plus, you can add your own recipies and get the nutritional stats! Also, it's super user-friendly! And it has a diary, which is fun to use!
3.
Stock xchange - http://www.sxc.hu/
GREAT website with
FREE stock photos! Plus the photos are huge!! A no-brainer for any artist looking for references. It's neatly organized and has a wide variety of photos.
4.
Sutaro Sketcher Oekaki - http://www.sutaro.com/oekaki/
An awesome oekaki board where you draw a 10 minute doodle and still get comments! Much better than any other ones I've tried. I've had no glitches with this board, no issues whatsoever. Plus, if you want you can go into the intermediate or advanced oekaki boards (however, registration and try outs are required.) It's the only oekaki board I use now.
5.
Steel Dolphin Color Scheme Tool - http://www.steeldolphin.com/color_scheme.html
The ultimate in color mixing and blending. I love how you can choose a colour and then enter the code right into photoshop! It's a breeze to use and oh so useful! Try it for room decorating, paintings, oekaki, and even makeup!
6.
About.com's Fitness Motivation Section - http://bodybuilding.about.com/od/womensfitnesstopics/a/motivatefemales.htm
If you're scared about being more active, unsure of what to do and what to believe, check out this website! It really is inspirational. Plus, About.com is HUGE. There is a whole section dedicated to artwork as well!
7.
Japanese Gallery Listing - http://www.geocities.jp/tirn_aill/tirnaill_links.html
I can't read Japanese, but this is a list of a ton of Japanese artist's websites. It's great when artist's block hits to check out this website for ideas. Be warned though, some of the websites contain graphic material.
8.
Absolute Anime - http://www.absoluteanime.com/
This website has character bios on tons of anime characters as well as anime summaries. Some of the info on this site does contain spoilers. Also, not every anime is on this site, however, lots are.
9.
Self Challenge 2007 - http://www.self.com/challenge/welcome
JOIN! It's fun and little bit tough, but you can win a trip to Paris...and a totally awesome body for the beach! It's a win/win deal! I don't read the magazine, but their tips and recipes sound super yummy!
10.
Art Tutorial - http://itchstudios.com/psg/art_tut.htm
Truly awesome tutorial. I don't use it much anymore since I've read it about five times, but it's VERY detailed. Sit down and read it when you have two hours to do whatever. An excellent tutorial with painting points galore. A must-fave for realism and anime artists alike.
