In my opinion, it was terrible and I highly reccomend staying away from it.
What I told a friend of mine a few minutes ago;

(10:35:39 PM) MitsukaixAndante: I thought the plot was ridiculously predictable, the pacing was really slow, the writing for all the good characters (Shrek, Donkey, Puss in Boots) was awful (but it might be because they had 7 writers for the movie so it makes sense if it was awfully written), I mean in part 1 & 2 I couldn't stop laughing at Donkey and Puss in Boots but in this one I barely chuckled at them. The same jokes were used, typical stuff and mostly geared towards kids (the kids in the audience weren't even laughing). Justin Timberlake did a horrible job at his voice over. It felt rushed and effortless. To me it was basically just a way for Dreamworks to make some quick money and put out new Shrek products. One good thing that came of it was it had some of the best animation/graphics I've seen in a film, very nicely done. Disney needs to steal their graphics team

To add in - Shrek was really weak, his character I mean.
You can tell they put almost no effort into the story, the characters or the jokes.
Nothing really entertaining about it, I felt so bored :(
But like I said, good eye-candy!
Disney really needs to steal Dreamwork's animation/graphic department.
Just...blah.
First Spider-Man 3 being mediocre, now this.
If Pirates: At World's End turns out to be a flop, I will truly cry >__<
