"Stand My Ground" ~ Within Temptation

So yes, while I wait for my flash drive to be able to be fixed, as it was confirmed by a local computer company, known as Nexsys, that it can be fixed, I have taken the time to start a new story. This is one based off another of my characters, and shall be pirate based.

What I'm asking of you guys, is because I suck at thinking of Names and Species for certain characters, I wish for you t help me think of names for certain character names and species. It's like all of my stories, Human and Anthro characters, along with the shifting Fox.

Anyway, I'm gonna list of the characters and places, plus a Short blurb. This is only up to, oh, halfway in the story though, but it will count.

Anyone who suggests using their character for a character mentioned here may get in.... but it's no guarentee

Here's the characters:

Barkeep 1 name - he's a minor character, starts out in the beginning but doesn't really follow through. So far, I've got him as 'Zeke', but I might rename him. Old Grey Tabby with a eye patch.

Captain of the Ship - Need a name for the captain and a suggestion of the species. Doesn't mind having a female on board, but wants to make sure crew members and possible crew members can help work and defend the ship, mostly by doing a trial run with them on their pistolmanship and fencing. Acts as the Mentor to Josephine

Name of Ship - I need a name suggestion for the First ship the crew takes. Nothing really to say except it's a basic ship, nothing big, but it's fast, and has a bit of power.

Ship Cook - Need a name and species. Works as the cook for the ship, preparing meals and such. Meals often suck, and has a bit of a bad temper, but can be friendly, if you don't dis his cooking. Often throws knives and yells "GET OUT!"

Magician - A stowaway Magician aboard the ship who was kept for his abilities. Bit of a Male Gypsy, and talks in riddles. Species is defined as some sort of Fox but hasn't been fully chosen, is the Love interest to Josephine.

Deck Slave 1 & 2 - Though called a Deck slave, in truth, they aren't treated like one and are even payed like the rest. One is set to be a Human, the other is an African-based species. Both are very strong and help wherever possible. The Anthro one is blind in one eye.

Main Port town - The main port town in the Caribbean area they sail to and from. Acts as a Central port for the Caribbean and is enforced well. Town is enforced by British Soldiers

Pirate Hideaway - The main Pirate hideaway they often ail to from time to time to get info. Area is heavily horded by Pirate men and whorehouses, drunken brawls often seen in streets.

Dead-man's Bluff - Not the real name, but a section of the Caribbean ocean that no ship should sail through. Any ship that sails through is doomed to run aground, not simply because of the many sharp rock formations, but also because of 'the beast' that lurks in it's waters. ((Also need suggestions of names for 'the Beast'))

Port Town Barkeep - A very kindly, but strict guy, works the bar and makes sure his maids are ok. Often ridicules Josephine for being a female pirate.

Pirate Hideaway Barkeep - The barkeep of the pirate Hideaway, treats all but one of his barmaids like total shit. Tries to convince Josephine to give up pirating to become a fulltime whore, much to the bane of Josephine.

Royal Navy Captain - The captain of the Royal Navy, who patrols the seas for pirates to knock them out of the water. Thinks all pirates should give up their life before he ends it. Has a crush on Josephine. Based on the Port town.


Just know I shaln't be using anything based off of PotC, except a few ideas. I want this to be original.
