Just popping in to let y'all know I'm alive, lol.

/* OBLIGATORY APRON WRINGING HERE! */

I feel really fooking guilty for posting art when I haven't answered all of my comments from the last one, but I'm still a touch sick and I can't seem to get a handle on my dA account, let alone this one (anybody else have that problem?). It's not 'cause I hate you or I think you're not worth my time. I love hearing from you guys, and I know you love hearing from me, but . . . yeesh, you know?

I used to feel a lot of animosity for really popular artists on dA because I thought they were stuck-up . . . I guess this is that coming back to bite me in the arse, or something. D: I was really naive. But I'm not anymore. I guess I'm just going to have to accept that some people will think what they will think and leave the rest of it to you guys.

/* END OBLIGATORY APRON WRINGING! */

Ahem. Now that I've gotten that out of the way.

STUFFS YOU NEED TO KNOW!

1. I'm still working on that tutorial. Reeeeally slowly. I've gotten about half of it done. In the meantime, I need some beta readers soon, so if you're interested, answer this journal!

2. I bought Ultra-Fractal! I'm still working on mastering the program, to be quite honest. It's a bit of a handful, but it's fun. And it's a good break from Apophysis every now and again.

3. I also bought a tablet! But I suck with it, so don't expect undying masterpieces out of it. I'll probably produce a lot of crap but not post it. And that's okay with me, as long as it's okay with you.

4. I'm working on a few requests I've got going . . . I know someone wanted a background for a myspace page, and I'm SO, SO INCREDIBLY SORRY to that person (don't worry, I know who you are ) for putting it off for this long. SORRRRRRYYYY! ._. I don't deserve you guys. Anyhoo, I'm still working on that.

(This isn't to solicit requests, though, since I've got my plate full. Sorry guys, but not now.)

And . . . I finally got some of my art stolen recently by a Russian . . . individual, who decided he would repost it on a site called "Artfile" that's sort of like dA, only Russian. :-/ Thankfully, he was too stupid to strip the borders on the piece, so it had my URL on it, and somebody notified me. All the same, I'm going to be watermarking my pieces from now on, and I'll probably go back and watermark the stuff that I've already got up. Sorry, but I don't wanna take chances.

So that's the end of this lonnng entry. How are you guys doing?

Osh, nice to see you back again.

Art Theft's fun. >_>: Not. As for me... I've ended up lurking around livejournal a tad too much. xD

Fitos Says:

Ah... You decided to join us again?

I think the fact that you're actually concerned about it shows you're above those dA artists. Plus if you've been sick, you need to focus on getting better.

Good luck!

Katya Says:

Welcome back!

I hope you feel better too.

chaosflare Says:

im glad to see that your feeling bit better i cant wait for your tutorial. im getting the hang of apop, but im still a noob lol. i would LOVE to be your protegé Oo

Nutamu Says:

Along with regular watermarking there's a technique I learned about from da that allows one to invisibly watermark. It can only be seen in IE (and other browsers that use IE like aol) if you highlight the image.

heheh I felt the same way when I started messing with my new tablet. It doesn't make me any better, it just means I can make crappy ms paint scribbles 5 times faster than before lol
