Well things have been more or less the same art wise. I'm still working on the oil painting, I started on the dragons and am trying to figure out what colors I want them and working on the first, which I've decided to make white and am working on the shading. I might make all the dragons white. Bah I dont know, I dont think that far ahead with paintings lol. After this I want to do some more dragon inspired paintings but along the same lines and mediums as my equine paintings have been done in. I think that would be nice. Plus I really enjoy that medium combination lately, of watercolor and colored pencil.
On Sunday the hubby, myself and his parents all went to a Nickleback concert. Ive always loved the way Nickleback sounded. They have a distinct style in my opinion, more so then whats on the radio these days, all the alternative bands sounds allot alike. Before Nickleback came on, Breaking Benjamin and Three Days grace played a good amount of songs. I knew they were going to be there so I had been listening to their latest albums. They both grew on me. It was a pretty good show in a fairly large stadium in Massachusetts's. My only complaint was the acoustics werent that great, the bass really over powered all the other instruments and the lead singers voice. It kind of all meshed together and was hard to pick out what was what. Had I not been familiar with the songs and lyrics I'm not sure I would have had the best time. The stadium was actually pretty horrible, I'm not sure if I should blame it on the facility or the groups sounds equipment.
I'm use to Dream Theater concerts that are played in actual theaters, with carpeted walls, where the room is made to have music sound the best it can be. *shugs* But none the less it was a blast! It sounded more or less good live on stage, discounting all that fuzz and bass sounds. While there was a short intermission between Three Days Grace and Nickleback, there was someone in the center of the stadium, for those who had to stand (we were up in the front of the balcony facing the stage) who started to dance along to the over head music they were playing during the intermission. This guy, who I believe was drinking, but not sure how drunk was back behind the standing crowd doing these cute little dance moves. At first just a few people were laughing and clapping, but eventually the whole freaking stadium was in a roar over this one dancing dude LOL! And once Paradise City started playing people went nuts. It was right out of a teenager party movie! Each time he would start up the crowd would go nuts. I cant imagine how cool it must be to have a whole stadium of people cheering for you. Just a regular fan! I'm telling you, its something that needs to be on YouTube and spread across the internet. hehe. The stadium staff kept watch on him, but I think if they broke it up people might have rioted. They all boo'd when they came over heh. It was all in good nature though.
Nickleback got started after with setting off some loud fire crackers which got everyones attention. They had allot of fire works and sweet Pyrotechnics during the show. They also came out with these cannon things and shot gifts into the crowd for people. They also came out with a tray full of beers, acting like they were going to give it to the fans standing in front. They ended up throwing the cups of beer out over the crowd, of course spilling all over them, but they loved it!
Besides that its been nice and warm outside. In the mid to upper 50's I believe tomorrow we are expecting it to get to 60 degrees. Nice spring weather, good for nice walks down the road. Tom and I got our vegetable seeds planted to get them growing inside so we can plant them outdoors when its time. Tomatoes, Peepers and Butternut squash. Pea's get started right outside in the ground once its time to plant. I'm glad to have started on the plants for the garden this year, it makes me feel more in the spring time mood, even if cool weather and snow is still in the forecast. I think I might be in a spring cleaning mood hehe.
Oh and STILL no news on ConnectiCon, I'm not to impressed with the way they manage things thus far *grumbles*

Looks like you had fun. And since you guys are getting spring, we're getting...winter. Ugh.
