I had my first, horrible, college exam ever D8 But I think I did well ;x; Can't be sure yet
BUTBUTBUT the best story I have of the moment is from the museum I'm at.
In my very hands, I got to hold a Labrador Duck, a Huia, a Carolina Parakeet, AND MORE ;3; It was AMAZING , and they were obviously stuffed seeing as all those birds are extinct... I even got to touch the feathers of an Ivory-billed Woodpecker O_O
The worst part about the taxidermy I s'pose is snapping their leg at the knee... It's one of the first steps, so they still look like birds while you do it and it's fairly unsettling, but not horrible. It's much easier from there, though I might just have become desensitized or somesuch.

GWAH It's very exciting, those of you who love animals as much as I do could surely understand
Excuse me while I go flip out and repeat "birds" over and over again in a slightly maniacal way...
What do you mean? Of course I'm perfectly sane!

That sounds like a really neat thing! I'm hoping this biologist gets in contact with me. I worked with the man the other day, but not the woman. The woman's job is to catch red cockaded woodpeckers, tag them, check on their nests, weigh them, etc. It's be neat to help he rone day.

Wow...you lucky getting to have those in your hands(though it'd be a lot more awesome if they were alive, yet alas..).
Also...I was wondering if you possibly had any tips on gaining the trust of not so social cockatiels? xD
