I think you should go for it. It's a bit tedious and you'll probably feel swamped every once in a while, so it would be a good idea to only openas many slots as you can take. (I for example have five open in my shop at a time, and then a 5 slot waiting list.) I think your art is totally worth higher-up there gold, but besides my opinion, you can always post in the "Pricing and Assistance" Forum in the Mini Shops forum. They can price your art and give you some idea of what it might be worth. But don't let them rip you off, coz' some people will do that.

Maybe do an auction first to see how much people would pay? Then perhaps set a price that's a bit lower? Or just continue with auctions...

Do what I do and auction everything. Start with a small amount of gold, time it for a day, and you'll get a fair amount.
