YAYAYAYAYAY!!!!!!!! I got my scanner!!!!!! And I got a tablet too!!! I have NO idea how to use it though... lol!! I've been using every tutorial(sp?) I can find
They are really comming in handy lol! But I can't do anything at the moment b/c I'm at my grandparents and about to die... lol!

Anyways, something that really helped me when I got my tablet is MSN chat. If you download the supporting software, you can actually doodle in MSN (there's a little tab down at the bottom of the text entry box that you can click). I'll constantly throw random doodles into chats with my friends; and one buddy and I have been known to have whole conversations via our doodles. It REALLY helped me get my hands used to working with a tablet. Also, don't be afraid to go into Paintshop or Photoshop or whatever it is you use and just play around. Make "modern art", try drawing something - and don't worry if the result is absolutely terrifying at first. We've all been there.
