Hey folks, I thank you all once again on the last journal subject pertaining about video editing for the PC; it'll make my life much easier rather than depending on computers from school. Fortunately, I got myself Premiere and noticed the similarities with iMovies and Final Cut so, I'm pretty much down with it as a kid with downs. Anywho, I'm loafing it until the 22 of Jan. The shitty thing is, time's going to be really slow until I get both my Wii and PS3 (which I paid for both, I'm a minimalist when it comes to other finances like clothes...seriously..I wear the same GWAR shirt every week). Anyways, yeah. But somethings been bothering me, I remember the subject matter with Jim a long while ago pertaining to Art in general. At UARTS, Postmodernism reigns supreme and the general idea is "parodizing the real". Gay..really. Putting a rock on the middle of the street, giving it an angsty name like, "The Depths of My Social ID" or some nonsensical boulder-dash. Then the tight-assed turtleneck pad lickers come outta no where and go, "GIVE THAT MAN MY MONEY! THE MAN'S A GENIUS!" So yeah, it drives me nuts. I want to ask you folks, what do you call Art? Yeah, I like Modern Art but it's gotta have some passion with it. I can't tell if it was or not..the artist has to feel that for themselves if they did the piece. Either they did it out of love or they did it for profit. Call me old fashion but that's my bottom line and I'm wondering what You folks think.
