Well last night at 12:25am it finally happened. My tablet passed on into digital heaven ;_;
Sure he could be a bit of a bitch but we had some good times......

Its officially dead. The wires broken and everything. So don't expect to be seeing any digital art from me for a while.
I'm gonna have to get a new one but theyre so expensive >_<
What kind of tablets are you guys using and how much do they cost? I need to decide if Im gonna get one like the one I had or get a different make

*shuffles off to angst over her loss*

How were the wires broken in the first place? Unless you were playing fishing with the tablet. Still, sucks alot. Tablets from what ive seen are pretty expensive, and you got to determine pressure and such items...or something....

Dont use a tablet or plan to really. Guess im too used to the mouse setup despite some disadvantages.

I use a blue Graphire4 6x8 pen tablet; got it for about $200 dollars (that includes shipping & handling and tax). Of course, there was a discount on the tablet, so normally their a bit more expensive.

Also, the higher-end Intuos3 is over $300 for the same size (6x8) (and yes, it's not just a more expensive version of the Graphire4; it's a bit more advanced).

I've lost 2 tablets. And on the second one, the pen was dropped so many times, i had to give up on it. Was it the actual tablet that died or the pen? If it was a pen, it could be replaced.

My tablet is also pretty much dead T_T... I'm expecting it to pass on any time soon....

I use a 4x6 WACOM Intuos 3 and I LOVE it. It's so nice I don't even use a mouse at all anymore; for normal computer activity I use the special mouse that came with my tablet. I think I got it for around $300? Something like that.

allaze Says:

if you use a wacom tablet, you can normally buy only pen thing. if it's the tablet who got dead, in this case, i feel sorry ffor you :/

ps : with intuos serie, you can get many pen differents, you can see this : http://www.wacom.com/productinfo/accessories.cfm

*pats* I'm using a tablet that's kinda... Unknown shall I say? o___o It's XP-Pen from Japan, and was on discount when I got it (from about $200 to $140-ish?)... Yeah... .___.
