Abc family happened to play the Corpse Bride on television today, so in the Halloween spirit I gave it a look.

I warn you, if your a Tim Burton fan this review won't be pretty.

Mostly, the movie was choppy. At times the movie seems rushed, it did not flow well.

There was one song in the whole movie I somewhat liked and that was a non-vocal. The vocal songs were hard to understand .. it was like talking in tune to music.

The worst part is, I'd be watching a singing scene, but slowly my eyes drifted off the screen, and I would zone out.

The plot although different did not appeal to me.

There was one funny scene. When the skeletons were dancing and singing a few of the scenes were reminiscent of the old "Skeleton Dance" cartoon that Disney released long ago (in black and white).

However, I liked the old Disney cartoon but not the Corpse Bride.

It's so hard to find a good movie these days especially one with a darker theme.

Alas, there shall never be another Vincent Price.
