Wow....

Hawaii got hit hard. Yep, and I was on the island that got the worst of it.

Lots of stuff in my house came crashing down, but luckily not my own house.

Oct. 15, Sunday morning...most of the population sleeping soundly in their beds...

A little after 7AM it hit.

News later said that there were 2 earthquakes. The first was around 6.7, and the second (which was about 15-20 minutes later), was 4.9 or so.

I even had to go to work that day. Man, the hotel was a mess. The store I work in, nearly all of the fragile stuff fell and broke. One of the huge wooden shelving unit fell on the hat rack, with stuff everywhere.

This is the biggest earthquake to hit Hawaii since 1983, as officials say.

I won't go into too many details since this probably won't apply to most people who are watching my sheezy and reading my journal.

I just wanted to get this down for the record.
