What it comes down to is this site and I are aiming for different things.

I had submissions here that haven't received as many veiws in a *year* as they have other places in a *day*. I don't feel like taking the time to maintain a gallery with so little in the way of return.

I'm also not too fond of the actual site. Even as I'm writing this I'm looking at 8 Ads across the journal page. The option to customize pages has made a great deal of you put annoying, eyebleeding graphics and irritating music all over everything, when all I want to do is simply thank you for a favorite. There is no quality control, there is no critique or sense of community I ever saw.

Even as I was nuking my gallery the site was going unacceptably slow. Not my cup of tea.

I've kept up three peices, two of my favorites and the one that was featured a few month ago.

For those who were kind enough to watch and favorite my things, I am quite appriciative. Without those, I would have left much sooner.
