I have a portfolio review at the end of the month (31-4th of aug) for getting into a Graphic design/illustration community college program, and I'm rather stumped. I don't want to submit a lot of anime because I know colleges don't like that, but some of my best works are anime. I have a CD cover I will have to locate and probably use.
these are a couple pictures in my gallery I'm thinking about using:
1. http://www.sheezyart.com/view/781229/
2. http://www.sheezyart.com/view/710895/
3. http://www.sheezyart.com/view/796077/
4. http://www.sheezyart.com/view/696177/
and maybe this one although I don't think it's that great...
5. http://www.sheezyart.com/view/746641/
I was thinking about using 1 and 2, but should I use more than 1 and 2? I'm gong to put some of my paintings in there to that arn't in my gallery online. I can have 5-10 peices and they say quality over quanity. It's also graphic design, and I'm not sure what the graphic design people are looking out for. it's not a prestigious college so they arn't really going to be judging me harshly but I want to pick the best out of what I have. If you guys want to recomend anything else out of my gallery go ahead.
So anything you guys can help me with will be fantastic!

I've checked your illustrations and they're quite good for admitance into a graphics design course. BUT, most importantly, one needs traditional drawings and illustrations in their portfolio too. You can't be a graphics designer if you can only draw on the computer. Its a rule.
Try drawing a flower for example, then notice the details of the flower and bring out a development drawing, such as for example, if you zoom into a flower, its no longer a flower, but an abstract illustration. Those will help you a lot because you'll know the basics of Art, which are, observation, recordings and techniques.
If you need more help, ask.
Hope that helps, and good luck.
OH, and don't forget to make your portfolio interesting. I mean the case or the cover.
