I'm currently in Australia and the Nintendo DS Connection Tour happened to be going on not too far from where I'm living in Perth. This one was mostly celebrating Mario's 20th aniversary. It was pretty cool and there were many games to play there including alot of retro games such as SMB, Super Mario Kart, and a whole bunch of Gameboy games and a few Gamecube games. They also has alot of DS games such as New SMB, Super Princess Peach, Big Brain Academy, Brain Age, Metroid Prime Hunters, Mario Kart DS, Animal Crossing Wild World, Cars, Over the Hedge, X-man 3, some Tamogotchi game, Nintendogs and some other games that I'm probably forgetting. There was also a whole bunch of info on the Wii and stuff. I played a few Metroid Prime Hunters just for fun against a few people for a short time(and won lol). I won some stuff for answering trivia questions too. :)

I entered the Super Mario Challenge which was a Contest/Tournament which over 250 people entered. The tournament consisted of New SMB and Mario Kart DS. In the first round 2 people played head tp head against each other in New SMB in the star collecting mode. Luckily I didn't have to play New SMB because my opponent didn't show up and I had never played New SMB before except on the stations they had set up there. In the second round I played Mario Kart DS against 7 other people and I won the race by almost a whole lap on Figure 8 Circuit. I did well in the Mario Kart(lol snaking) and I made it to the Finals but unfortunately I lost in the finals. I won loads of cool stuff though such as Mario belts, keychains, pens, masks, discount coupons for games and stuff, free DS/mobile phone downloads and stuff and heaps of other cool crap.
