Many folks have asked if they can make requests or buy commissions, and I always end up having to tell them, um, no. (Oddly, nobody wants to do trades, but those would still end up in the same category.) However, you might get lucky if you suggest an idea that inspires my muse, whose tastes are weird, eclectic, and highly unpredictable. So, in that vein, I'm offering this journal to which you can affix your ideas. I have one picture I'm (finally) working on (and it came to me in a dream), so there's a chance your idea could be next, if it sparks my muse.

So here are some ground rules:

* No true humans or true furries. I like humans and I like furries, but for inspiration, I can guarantee those wouldn't pass, so I'm going to save you your time by telling you those would fail right off the bat. The closer you get to "normal" and "mainstream," the less likely you are to inspire me; some things will, still, but you're pressing your luck by trying. Try a little more creative: A centaur tangled in a spider's web, or a six-armed girl trying to figure out what to do with the other five while writing a letter. Generally half-human and half-something-else (centaurs, nagas, driders, etc.) is not a bad choice, but again, no guarantees. Tolja my muse is weird.

* No violence or language. I've been inspired by things from G-rated to X-rated, but violence and profane language are pretty much guaranteed to not get drawn.

* Look through my gallery and favorites first. If what you're suggesting is already in there somewhere, you probably won't succeed.

* Female characters only. Sorry, but (A) I'm still not confident in drawing guys, and (B) drawing girls is more fun anyway. (Sue me, I'm a guy :-P ) This effectively means no TG, either. Sorry, but TG and my muse don't seem to get along very well for some reason; I don't object to seeing it, but I don't feel very inspired by it.

* Fewer characters in the picture is better, and ideally just one. Look at my gallery and count the number of drawings with multiple characters. I've done multi-character drawings before, and I usually get bored about two-thirds of the way through, so even if I like it, you'd better keep it simple if you want to see it finished.

* Be descriptive. You never know what will actually inspire my muse, so the more you say, the more likely one of your words will be to strike me. If necessary, describe a little of the story behind your character. If she's not human (and I recommend not), then how did she get like that? Born that way? TFed? Is she a fan-character from some series? Does she like it? Hate it? Doesn't care? Describe the pose you'd like to see her in: Standing, sitting, running, slithering, hanging, blurbing, or whatever. Is the picture taken candid? Posed? What would she be saying if there were audio recorded? Is it a comedic scene, dramatic, or neither?

There are no guarantees that I'll draw anything suggested below, especially considering how bad I've been in the past with things like kiribans (I still owe a couple of them :-/ ). But even so, if you're lucky enough to inspire my muse, you might just get to see your thoughts spread out on the page in shiny colors for all to see.
