Me: Okay, take it in, and have them look at it (it meaning the motherboard and case and etc that I assembled last night). If they can't fix it right there, bring it and my old computer back and I'll just fix it here.
Her: Okay.
Twenty four hours later, mom pulls into the driveway, and comes in without the computer.
Me: Uhh... where's my computer?
Her: They couldn't fix it. I'll have it on Friday.
Me: ... Do you listen to anything I say?
How much does it SUCK to totally not be listened to whatsoever? She does it all the time. I'm v. angry right now. I could be on my OWN computer right now, or close to it, but no.. no.. no.
I've waited like.. what? A month? Six weeks? This is fucking batshit. I am a seething little kettle of rage right now.
I know how you feel. people just don't listen
icarus Says:
at least your mom doesn't selectively rewrite history.

my mom rewrote history in her mind so that when my friend went with us on vacation she 'never once said thankyou.' she rewrote a trip my cousins and i took to grenwich villiage as 'you all got lost in harlem and were miserable and came back very sad.'
SO JUST REMEMBER: IT COULD BE WORSE
but that does suck ass.
Nikuramon Says:
that happens to me way too often.
I hate when people don't listen.
Good luck with your new computer!
NoodleNeko Says:
I sowy...
I can send you a horde of deranged NWN demons to beat up if you like.
Jeffk38uk Says:
Man, that pretty much sucks. But you know mothers, when it comes to technoogy, they often believe the stores than what their own children would say.
maRIK COSSman Says:
damn...well don't step in the guano..and don't boil over...that might hurt
Cat Megex Says:
I'm sure you know what they say: "If you want something done right, do it yourself." In other words, you probably should have taken the computer in instead of your mom.
