I am trying to put together an auction of sketches to raise money for a little girl born (5/17/06) with a heart defect!

Hannah Lynn Ingraham, suffers from a condition called HLHS- Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome. Hannah's left heart ventricle is severely underdeveloped and will require surgical attention as soon as she is born. In order for Hannah's heart to function properly, a stint will need to be placed in the left ventricle of the heart. The stint placement will require three open heart surgeries. The first surgery, which will place a stint in the left ventricle, will take place one to three days after Hannah is born. The second operation will take place within four to six months, and the third operation will occur when she is between two years and four years old.

After extensive research, the Ingraham's have made the decision to deliver Hannah Lynn and perform the necessary operations at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, then within thirty minutes of birth, she will be transported to Children's Hospital (which is connected to the University of Pennsylvania.) CHOP is the best heart hospital in the United States and has the most experienced pediatric cardiac physicians.

In addition to the future operations, the Ingraham's (who currently reside in Colorado will need to relocate the first of April to New Jersey. Colorado's high elevation poses a serious risk to Hannah's heart. New Jersey provides a lower elevation, reduces stress on Hannah's heart and is within close proximity to the physicians and hospital.

I have learned that medical bills will be near a million dollars.

What I plan to do:

I'm putting together an auction of sketches and putting them on ebay. The title will be Heroes for Hannah. Depending on how many artists will join me will determine how many pieces will be in the auction, but I will round out the number, even if I have to draw like 50!

What can you do to help?

Simple draw ups some sketches. Even if it's only one it will help Hannah out greatly. I will supply the paper I just need a current address and how many sketches you would be willing to draw up. These can be a variety of styles: pencils, sharpies, markers, grays, blacks, colors, I don't care. I just want to keep the theme of Heroes.

Please help me in making this a big event! If we can get a 1000 sketches compiled and they go for as little as $5 a piece that's $5000!

While I normally do my own fantasy stuff and just ink comic work, I definitely intend to do some pin-up Batman fan art for Hannah! Please, spread the word!
