AC/DC - "Next to the Moon"

Just thought I'd alert everyone to a little contest-ish thing I'm doing.

Pretty much, the idea is this:
Create and draw a reference picture for a character for my comic.
The one I like best gets an appearance as an extra (sorry, the whole comic has been roughdrafted already, so I can't write anyone in), and then the person who designed them gets a full-quality picture from me! (Well, as full-quality as I can manage without a tablet.)
So yeah, just any patterns you notice about the bird-people of the comic are the basics of how the bird people look; arms and legs without wings or tail, head-and-shoulders feather patterns, no footwear, beaks, merlin falcon plumage, and so on.

Also, I'm trying to get an account on comicgenesis.com for my comic, but last time I did that the comic was accepted but the site itself wouldn't let me upload anything. I have a real FTP program now, though, so hopefully that will work. I'll keep everyone updated.
