Well, I'm back from my trip and, in fact, I've been home for a while but I've been really, really busy in my new position. Sadly, with no time to work on my art, which hurts me a whole lot right now because I need it more than ever. The trip ended up not being as fun as I thought. The training was tougher than I thought. At some point even my job was in risk because they were complaining about me "not fulfilling expectations" so, someone had to come from the higher ranks to supervise me just to find out that in fact my work was meeting and even exceeding expectations.
I was soooooo exhausted after those two weeks because I had to wake up really early, and study until really late. At times we'd only get like four hour of sleep and they expected us to be awake and do our job next day. So, I ended up locked in that office all dayd long, and in the evenings we were all too tired to even go out of our hotel rooms, so we ended up not going anywhere or visiting any Florida attractions. By the end of the first week I already wanted to go home, and I knew I couldn't and the worst was still to come. I guess the only thing I can't complain about was the food. I lost count of how many times I ate fried mozzarella sticks ^__^ And in fact, I could eat one more steak now. I was sick from eating so much.

Florida facts

1.Flight attendants in flight to and from FL are rude
2.In Bidu's times planes used to give you food and play a new movie, not just pretzels (which Bidu kinda hates btw) and 'Friends' reruns.
3.Most people really hate their jobs
4.Cashiers mumble a lot.
5.Some restaurant called "Longhorn" in Boca Raton has a really cute waitress. Bidu wishes he would have discovered this sooner and eaten there more often
6.Playstation games are cheaper there
7.KB is more expensive than Toy R' US. I'm surprised because when I lived in California and Texas it was the other way around.
8.A LOT of old people live there, specially in the area I was. It actually made me feel young. In fact, I was told I look way younger than I am several times ^__^

Oh, and I bought a katana! yay! It's beautiful! And the sotry goes: I was at the mall and a store had all sorts of swords, so I went in and they were kinda expensive. So the dude asked me if I was looking for anything in particular, and I said I wanted a katana but I didn't have that much money. And he asked how much I was willing to spend. And I said I had about 30 bucks. So he point at some swords and said I could have any of those for $20, and I found one just like I wanted it. I'll post pictures of it later.
Yeah, and I did get to buy some stuff for my family. I bought a bunch of PS2 games for my brother. People at this and the other site have been talking about kingdom hearts so much that I thought I'd buy it and give it a try. So, I bought KH1 (and 2) but I didn't start playing it until last week and I must say it looks cool, and it has one remarkable soundtrack.... ...but... I was disapointed because nobody told me it had real-time battles, and I had always thought it had final-fantasy-style, turn-based battles. Because, really, I suck at video games, specially if they require you to be fast. So I usually play only final fantasy and the likes. But well, we were able to find a workaround the problem. My brother plays it for me and I just watch. He's the hands, and I just help him solve puzzles and watch the cutscenes. So yeah, I guess we might beat the game eventually. Oh yeah, and the "gummy ship" is the cheapest looking ship I've seen on a PS2 game... ...it's cheap even for a PS game... How did that design even make it into the game?
And well, as a final note I just wish to say I regret not being able to meet all of you Florida friends and fellow artists. It would have made a big diference in my trip but unfortunately it did not happen. Maybe next time. And well, don't be surprised if I don't post that often, because I'm really busy at work right now. I have to wake up- at 4am to make it to the office at 6, and I don't get to leave until 6pm or later and by the time I get home I'm so tired I just want to sleep. So, yeah, that's Bidu's life right now. I would like to work on some musicals this weekend, so be prepared!

Nice. Florida is nice. Work isn't.
I know, I have the worst job at my resturant. Dishwasher. As if touching people's plates with their left over food, and scrubbing the grease off pots and pans isn't enough, I get so many cuts, and chemicals in most of them.
That, and I usually get home at 12:00 midnight, and yay for school in the morning.

Oh, and KH1 is way better than KH2. I couldn't stand KH2 so I didn't even finish it. The worlds are much shorter (which is pretty damn short) and the storyline just feels like it was thought of over night. So have fun while playing the better version.
