This week, I just found out that my all-time favoritest manga in the whole wide world was just translated and released by Shounen Jump. Minute I saw it, I squeeled and bought it right off the shelf. :] I've bee reading Black Cat since about 2002/03ish and I knew that it would be a matter of time before it would be translated and hit American shelves. And I am going to collect every fuckin' volume of that series, as well as continuing my collection of the original raw manga. ^^ *Has only the first four volumes.*

So anyway, what's with the journal entry about this? Well quite frankly, I am just a bit annoyed about it now, Rofl. Because everyone knows the reaction to manga readers and otaku the MINUTE Full Metal Alchemist and Naruto was released. Everywhere you turn, there is random Naruto costume jacket shit, and some random-ass FMA accessories. All the noobs are obsessed with these two anime the most. Right now, I am praying that Black Cat doesn't become some psycho-object of obsession with the noob community. Because it's going to suck when they think they know everything about the series... ~_~

I also learned that Black Cat is finally going to be a 26 - 32 episoded series that hit TBS in Japan in October of this year sometime. Minute it does, I'm going to TORRENT that shit!!

I know this rant of mine may sound pointless and you can't really help how people feel about certain series and stuff. I just hope Black Cat doesn't become so crazed and hyped up and shit. It'll be uber depressing because Black Cat is a damn good series and I'd hate to see it become ruined due to noobs and so forth...

And in other news, I just found a new series that I actually took the time to read and I've fallen in love with the first volume... Death Note. o_o *Such a late bloomer.*
