After getting his new eyes put in today, Aoi surprised me... He wanted to go outside and play! So... this is how things went: (This really wasn't supposed to be a photo story, but there was enough images and I thought it might be cute... this is my first one, so go easy on me)

Trin: Aoi, what are you looking at honey?
Aoi: *looks out the window, ignoring his mom*
Trin: Aoi... *pokes Aoi*



Aoi: *jumps and looks* What??
Trin: What are you looking at?
Aoi: The snow... it's pretty. I want to go out and see it!
Trin: o.O; Um, okay... but you better put your boots on.
Aoi: Okay! YAY!



Aoi: *walks carefully in the snow* Wow, it crunches when you walk it in and the air smells so nice and crisp.
Trin: Look at the me, Aoi.
Aoi: Yes, mom? *looks up* o_o *blink blink* Did you really have to take a picture? My hair must be a mess in this wind...
Trin: It's fine, Aoi ^^. Don't worry about it.



Aoi: Hmm... Ooo! What are these?? *kneels down*
Trin: Those are footprints from a squirrel.



Aoi: Really? *looks up again* Neat... Hey, can I...?
Trin: Can you what?
Aoi: Do this! *gets down in the snow and moves his arms and legs up and down*



Trin: Aww, you made a snow angel, how cute Aoi... How old are you?
Aoi: *winks and smiles* 19 going on 10.



Trin: That's what I thought... Oh darn, my batteries died. I'll be right back...
Aoi: *brushes off snow from his clothes and hair* Okay, I'll be waiting for you *grin*
Trin: *hurries back into the house for new batteries for the camera*



Aoi: *hums softly to himself*
Trin: o_O Aoi... what are you doing?
Aoi: What's it look like I'm doing? *gestures to the snowman*
Trin: Making a snowman...



Aoi: Very good. Now it just needs the finishing touches...



Aoi: Ta da! All done! ^__^ *smiles and poses proudly*
Trin: *claps and snaps a photo* It looks kind of evil though..
Aoi: >.> You picking on me?
Trin: No, no... not at all.

.....A while later.....



Aoi: *shivers and huddles in a blanket* Brr...
Trin: Cold now aren't you?
Aoi: *nods* Yes... *his teeth chatter* Snow if very cold, but it was fun...
Trin: I'll make you something hot to drink.
Aoi: *nods and buries himself further into the warm fleece* Brr, next time I'm wearing gloves...

And that's the end! I was going to take more, but I was freezing and so was Aoi, so we ran back into the house. I think I'll take him out again at some point this winter.
