About time I updated the Journal since the last entry. Well... since some things have happened, I may as well bring them up.

1: We got a new digital camera a couple of weeks ago, and it's a doozie of a camera (Nikon CoolPix 8800 to be specific). Good lord... the camera is only 8 megapixels, and has everything but the kitchen sink. I swear, if it could, it would walk off, take its own pictures, come back home, and shut itself off. Hopefully... I'll be able to borrow it when I go to the Renaissance festival with Angel and her friends.

2: Regardless of how much I hate it, we need to get rid of my first car (an 88 Fiero). A while ago, the CV joint that holds the wheel to the axel broke, and now the car is sitting in the driveway with the driver rear wheel cocked out a good 6 inches at the top. No sense on paying insurance on a car that is terminally disabled...

And the car I'm getting now (93 Grand Am) isn't a stick shift... *whimpers*

3: This one should be a major deal, but I'll be alone when it happens, and won't know how to celebrate. As of the 3'rd of September, I will be 21, a legal adult. It's to bad that the bulk of what I get I won't really see (the new car, renewing my drivers license, another semester of college...). When this comes around, my parents will be on a cruise in Alaska for over a week, so I'll be alone with almost no human contact. It's going to be a miserable week, I just know it...

4: Seems like my art queue can't go down much. I look around and select characters for portraits, and have gotten a couple of requests too. Based on this, I may stop taking most requests. Current queue is as follows (names are relevant to the name I know the artist by, so names may or may not be valid here).
