My gosh... if i could explain this in one word... 'WEEEEE!!!' xD

Man... my very first Anime North, and boy have i enjoyed it greatly. ^_____^ From i got there, it was great. Half an hour of wait time in the registration line, but i was posted in front of a pair of twins dressed as Light and Dark Chii. They were great. ^^ They kept me entertained during the wait. Sadly, i didn't see them for the rest of the night. = But, no sooner did i set foot in the Toronto Confederation Centre, did i have to call up my (lazy) friend Mike, who was bugging me all week wondering when/where we should meet. Funny how -i- had to wake him up to make it down eh? xD

So, during the wait, i do some perusing. And boy did i come across a gem in Artist's Alley. I found the artist who did that uber piccy of a Ragnarok Online Succubus! xD *squeals and goes into her book bag* It is the one done by Xchan of a Succubus sitting pretty in (what looks like) Magma dungeon 2. (Eeee, i'd post it if i could ) I was pretty sure that i'd be indecisive when it came to buying a poster once getting there, because there were such uber artists there, but this one just took the cake for me; i -had- to get it. ^___^

But that's not the highlight of the moment. This is.... i had to take a double take when i found 4 of my idols in a row, lined up at a table! o.o! These four are known as follows, Style Wager (and i'm sorry again for pronouncing it Wagner, Style ;;; ), whom i bought a 'Brave New World' comic from (love it, haven't stopped reading ); L! whom i was acutally quite surprised to meet there; gNAW(!), and Max BlackRabbit, both of which i was to (try and) get a commission from. My mind is reeling soo much right now, i nearly regret not getting a weekend pass, and here's why.

The only bad news of the night: They cut off the night early. ; It had said on the site, that the show would be open to like, 2 am today, and in the program they sent, that the Centre itself would be open to, like, 8pm (and after speaking with Max for a good while, had told me that the previous night, they had packed up and left for about 10pm), and sadly, due to it, wasn't able to get the con commish i had asked for. 'Twas quite an ingenious one too (at least, i thought so, hehe). But, i will, eventually reask him for it, as i cannot return tomorrow, due to it being rent week next week. And gNAW too; poor guy... he was backed up in commissions when i had asked him. But, i'll get you too some day. xD

BUT, i was able to get that comic from Wager, and briefly got to see L! as well. ^^ As well, i was able to catch a new Pokémon movie in the afternoon. ^^ I could go into a lot of detail and stuff, but it's, like 1am and i'm kinda bushed.

But before i close, i'd like to give an expressed thanks to first Style Wager himself, for selling me that wonderful comic, and the friendly chat we were able to share about the upcoming con in Ottawa. ^^ As well to gNAW, whom also shared a chat, and a few laughs as i was able to go through his con sketchbook (hehe, the fun came when we tried to go through the mature section without being caught by the shoulderlookers of youngsters xD). As well, Max, whom shared the same scenario, dodging younglings from art clearly above their age. :p But even more so for letting me see future advances in Lust Lass, whom i have grown to like with the few public pics of her i've seen; same can be said of Evil Ms. Z. Can't wait to see advances on both of them.

One final thanks to gNAW and MAx for considering my commisions i had asked for, albeit gNAW wouldn't have been able to due to my own scheduling, and Max not able to, due to the convention scheduling, but rest assured, i'll be asking of both of you in the future. Thanks guys, the four of you are great. Made my day, you did.

And finally, apologies to a few. I'm sorry, Snoot, Kai, and Kami, that we weren't able to meet today, as i had my eyes opened all day i was there, looking for you guys, and *bops Kai* i had expected you to be around the DDR area more. > But it would have been great to meet all of ya. And i'm sure that we will all have our chances again in the future, okie?
