Alright.. I'm considering REALLY seriously to buy a graphic tablet because I feel it's being somewhat limitating to color with the mouse and so on.

So.. BEFORE buying something that might be too old or just NOT worth the money, I'm forced to ask around my fellow artist friends.

Down here in Argentina, tablets are somewhat rare, but there is this one that is kinda cheap and doesn't seem too bad..

It's a Genius WizardPen 4x3 (there ain't any bigger x_X) with 512 levels of pressure, up to 4064 LPI, USB port.

Then there is one of 5x4 too, but I don't know if that one is available or not.

I would REALLY appreciate any replies to this. What kind of tablets do you use, for example.. their pressure level, the LPI thing.. anything will be greatly appreciated!

I use a wacom thingy.. but you know what i think? I think it doesnt matter what kind or what size the tablet is.. its all in the artist. And it would be so incredibly awesome to see what you could do if you had a better tool. Please Get One!!

A Genius WizardPen? O.o never heard of it. Although, it seems like a decent enough tablet, from the pressure levels and so on. i *may* be thinking about getting a tablet too, and i'm set on a Wacom Intuos 6x8 or a 9x12. People say taht Wacom is the best tablet company out there, but its a matter of opinion, and price. For me to get an intous, it'll cost roughly $500 -.-'

Kitsumie Says:

hey wacoms dont cost that much mine was only £25 and its really good but i cant draw with them no more i just use them for colouring now good luck on getting a tablet

Arazia Says:

I have a 4x5 wacom graphire tablet that seems to work okay for me. I really don't know the fine points of using a tablet, and I mainly use it for coloring since my laptop has become my -art machine-. Things like mine tend to run 70-90 USD. I've seen some cheaper, in the 30-50 dollar range on E-BAY, but of course, shipping would probably be an issue.

I'm not sure how much mine cost, since it was a christmas present.

*hug*

Cuidate y suerte. Me avisas por cualquier cosa, ¿ok? Byes! :)

mine was real cheap, and it's only little, but it does the job. I'd say go for it.

Mylyfunskripted Says:

mines a wacom, probably 4x3 as well. Ive never heard of that kind but im sure its hard to find a BAD tablet you know? Its all the same.

Hobbit Nat Says:

errr.... like everyone else, i suggest wacom, but if you try ebay, you could get one really cheap (intuous) are good too!!
