May the 8th..so happens Mothers day this year!
Soooo the tricky bugger is sneaking up on me *looks over shoulder* and here comes another birthday. Last year was uneventful so Im planning for the same thing. Last year I went to work, after work went to a small car show in town and went home..that was about the extent of that. This year im broke and going to visit family in a hospital soooo somehow I forcast this birthday to be as hummdrum and unmemorable as the last. Just as well....I don't think Ive ever had a birthday party so I wouldnt know how to act anyway...and for that matter Im no good at days that focus on me...I tend to feel as if its wrong for people to fuss around me.
In other news its nice to have sheezy back. It seems a bit on the slow side...I see a lot of art is not getting as many faves as it should and comments are sparce. I wonder why that is...there dont seem to be as many uploads as I expected when it came back. Still its nice to have the 'ol place back. Its a nice quiet smallish community, a nice change from deviant. Seems the more 'popular' you get there the more people are prone to nit pick any smalllll mistake they perceive in your work...even when you discourage critique. Really peeves me, especially when its an empty criticism not backed up with anything constrcutive. It does more to destroy what little inspiration I may have had more than help me.

aww, I hope your birthday's not too boring! It seems a lot of people's birthdays are in May.
I noticed that about sheezy too, guess some people decided not to come back, huh?

It's so true... but I like the smaller community. It seems like I can upload more of my, so-to-speak 'unpolished' works here without worry. DA feels like such a professional place =3

Yeah, I kinda enjoy the smaller community better, just like TLK Archive. Yeah, every week in May there is a birthday that I have to celebrate; 6th-sister, 13th-friend, 16th-another friend, 20th-mom, and 27th-brother. I feel so alone in April

Hehe! I feel the same way about birthdays too! I just want to forget about it. And this year, the 28th of may to be excactly, I'm turning 18, and it seems that everyone expect that I should hold a party! But they can forget it, cuz I don't like to be in centrum of things!

n_n I hate celebrating anything even remotely related to me too. I'd rather spend birthdays in my room hiding from people. ..unless they had chocolate. I'd go talk to people if they had chocolate. Happy early birthday though ^__^ *much huggyness*
There are SO many good artists established over there that it's hard to get any recognition at all. And people seem to be a bit more snobbish over there o__O
I think I like Sheezy better than dA as well. I feel kind of..I don't know. Ignored at dA
