I was on my way to my second job this afternoon, and my mind was filled with worry about a bajillion different things. My mom was driving, and she had just started to turn a corner after a stop sign when ALL OF A SUDDEN the last in a line of three cars coming toward us decided it'd be a great idea to pull over into the wrong lane of traffic and try to pass the slow-moving cars in front of him. Needless to say he wasn't paying attention to us, so as his car neared our van and I heard the horns beeping (his at the slow cars, and ours at him) I thought "Oh, Jesus, PLEASE make it so my dad doesn't have to find out about this >___<" And the next thing I knew, the guy's car was stopped within inches of our left-front headlight o_o After the world reverted out of slow-motion, I found clarity in a lot of things that have been troubling me lately. I felt like He was saying "I see what's going on and I've got your back. You asked me to take it from you, now will you give it to me please?" We had at least two more close calls on the way home, and I thank God for the Angels He sent to watch over me today.

Angels can do some amazing things. I've had a friend who got lost in his neighborhood (when he was really little, and let me tell you, it's not that hard because of all the turns in the road). I think he may have actually wandered out of it, but I'm not sure. A man he had never seen before came up to him and led him back to the empty lot across the street from his house, and then he (my friend, not the stranger) ran back to his parents, who had been looking for him. When he told them what had happened, they looked for the man, but he was gone. They never did find him, even though he said he lived in the neighborhood. We're all convinced it was an angel.
