I thought I'd break away from tradition and post something on the threads about <i>art</i> ^^ So really, what drives you to draw? I'm curious.

I like drawing Pokemon, Naruto characters, and Neopets.

Stuff that happens every day.

The line between "why" and "what" is a fine one, isn't it? D: I like to draw because it comes in handy.

I feel I'm contributing something meaningful to this world.

It's a quiet way to express myself.

People ask me to, from time to time. We'll be talking, and they'll say, "Do this!" and I'll be all "NO WAY!!!" and they'll be like, "We were pretending to murder you." That was great. But no, seriously... most of my drawings these days are done in class, because it looks like I'm taking notes.

Oddly, most of my art is based on a singular story that has been in constant editing and rewrites. The drive to draw and write an engaging storyline led me to improve myself artwise. Sadly, uni made me hold on my project, so I now draw for fun and challenges via art trades.

I draw because I enjoy doing it and I need the practice to become better at it.

Why do I like to draw? Well for one it helps me with my ADD/ADHD (yes I have a mix of both) and the other it's just so fucking entertaining. There is no rules to what you can and cannot draw. You will amaze yourself with what you draw sometimes. I know it amazes me even if it doesn't happen often. Then there's even more excitement from the drawing. ~Emil~

i enjoy seeing the characters that i'm able to create, and i feel that if i ever want to get better i have to study and practice. I feel that if i can get a message across to anyone, when i draw seriously, then i'll be able to relax some. everything that i've drawn up till now is still practice.

its something i know i am good at and its fun. it makes me happy to draw. i can sit in my room and just draw a whole different world in my sketch book and to me, it makes me happy. ^^ thats why i draw >D

I like to draw because, really, it's away to releve(sp) my anger. Plus I got hooked on it the second my mom put a crayon in my hand and a paper infront of me...... not jokeing!

I draw because class is too boring.
