One of the last of the summoner tribe, Eiko has always been raised by moogles since childhood and she also has a special moogle she is particularly close to named Mog. Eiko is first met at Madain Sari, the last home of the summoner tribe. She has a horn on her head which she uses to communicate Eidolon's with. She develops a crush on Zidane when she first meets him which leads to some funny situations but eventually she realises Zidane is in love with Garnet and vice versa. Being raised by moogles, Eiko hasn't had much contact with anyone from outside the continent. In fact Zidane's group was the first real people she had seen in years. Eiko is a pretty happy child, she carries a somewhat jealous streak but she catches on pretty quickly and enjoys Zidane's company as a friend. I kinda like Eiko's background, I thought it was a great one for a character like her. She is my third favorite character in FF9 (second favorite is Princess Garnet and my favorite is General Beatrix).

is Eiko related to Amarant? They coincidentally have similar names... Amarant Coral and Eiko Carol Could Amarant actually be Eiko's grandfather?
