Surely you can see the satirical glance at a postmodern internet animation audience's dislike of sprite animations in the piece, making it a valid piece of artwork in it's own right, can't you?
What's more likely is that a moderator just hasn't had time to see it yet. They can only remove it, not stop it being posted, so give it some time.

I did not know that. I thought they had to approve all incoming submissions. Nevermind that, then.

Well I know this is an issue Im sure most people of a certain skill level are consernd with. However I must inform you all that the reason many submissions are currently being alowed into the gallery is due to the quality level 80% of the submissions we have received are at.
Originally, I posted a set of guide lines for quality on the sumbission of animations to the gallery. However, this has NEVER been uphled by anyone submitting to the gallery, and should I have kept to this orginal set of rules, we would have a vitually empty gallery.
This club has several hundred members, and the majority of them do not have great skillz, but are rather learning animation. As such, we are now pretty much allowing anything that is animated and took aproximatly (moderaters being the judge of) a couple days or more to complete.
I know this is probably frustrating to many people who spend much time on their animations, but we are trying to host a large variety of artists in this club. You will not see a large number of submissions from me either, because I spend large sums of time on an animation and do not submit low quality works.
Just take pride in your work, and dont let outside influnces get you down. Look at that sprite film and remember how your work is on a diffrent level, and why you spend time creating quality flash, as apposed to half ass.
