1 - Don't Annoy the Mod Team
The mods are chosen for this forum by KaynSlamdyke. Pestering him or the other mods will not be looked upon nicely. As it stands, the clubs got a very liberal view of things, and Kayn doesn't want it to change. If there's a lot of abuse of this nice system going on, then Kayn will just have to put up some walls to the options you can do, and that won't be very productive for gaming
2 - Keep this forum IC
We have two forums. An in game and an out of game forum. Complaining about things happening OUT of the game is for the other room! Use this game room for playing forum RPGs.
3 - One Game, One Topic
Keep a single game inside one topic. It's not going to go anywhere, and it's just too much paperwork to keep track of fifteen topics at once as a player. Besides, it'll make the site look tidier.
4 - Warn about Mature Content
If a game's going to feature mature themes (I'm looking at everyone considering running a Vampire game here...) then put the age rating in the game's topic. The GM of the game has to ensure that every person who plays qualifies for this age rating (with thier profile age on thier SA Page).
5 - GM Rule IS LAW IN GAME
Each game topic defines a GM to run that topic (normally, it's the topic starter). Thier rule is law as far as it stands in the game. Follow this rule, or the entire thing will break down
6 - S'Only a Game. So Play Nice
Whilst the Internet Is A Serious Place, it's still one where we can have fun. Keep this in mind. Don't play to win (unless the GM's encouraged that), and don't actively play to mess with another player. Don't get too attached to characters - share the world with your fellow players.
7 - No Flooding. Ten Minute Minimum Waiting Rule
You may not post in the same topic twice within ten minutes of each other. Failure to appreciate this means death.
That should do. More to come when I think of them
