Alright, I don't know how many of you are going to look at this and be wondering for a split second why is filling the outline out important. Well, this is actually one of the most helpful things for you to understand and get to know your own characters. I found a lot of flaws in mine thanks to this, and now I pass it down to here...well the shorter and more easy to understand version compared to the other one that also roams around elsewhere. >.> And yes, every little detail counts. <b><u>The Physical Character</b></u> ~How does s/he ~Look, sound, move, gender/ ~Age/ ~Size/ ~Dress/ ~Physical appearance/ ~Mannerism/ ~Walk/ ~Speech patterns & style/ ~Voice/ ~Accent/ ~Other/ <b><u>The Sociological Character</b></u> Backstory: ~Past- Childhood: ~Upbringing/ family/ socio-economic status/ abilities/ impediments, disadvantages/ friends/ activities/ likes/ dislikes ~Accomplishments/ disappointments/ triumphs/ ~Special events that impact the character’s adult personality and/or the story, Past- Adult: ~Any of above factor that impacts the characters personality/ ~Relevant events, situations, or other characters/ ~Character’s relevant reactions (and subsequent actions)to events, situations, other characters, his/her own behavior that impact the character’s personality and/or the story. <b><u>The Psychological Character</b></u> ~How his/her actions are motivated and/or affected by the character’s inner self: ~Attitudes (towards self, other, world, life, etc.) ~Opinions (of self, others, world, life, etc.) ~Views of the world ***Other traits or characteristics to consider: ~Confident? This is pretty awesome :3 I've pretty much beat most of my main characters to death with stuff like this, but I'll gladly use this one for my newer characters :D
