Personally I just think DeviantArt has more overall variety and quality, and SheezyArt has a lot of people who couldn't follow the rules at DeviantArt. *shrug*

Well I guess the main thing is that Lolly at DeviantArt has now officially stated that contacting ShadowGamers anywhere EVAR is against DA policy, and thus bannable, whilst SheezyArt has no such sanction. WELP.
Yeah I don't do so well with rules that make no sense, and SheezyArt seems a nice place.

I make anime wallpapers, dA removed all their anime wallpapers awhile ago and declared the use of official images a banable offense, even with credits. Thing is I didn't receive a notice/warning that my art was no longer acceptable (you know "hey we removed these pieces because ______, here's your warning"), I've never been banned from a site before or since dA, that was just a shock ><

I have a dA account. Well, had I guess. I quit maintaining it after... a month? Honestly, I don't remember. I think I lost interest in the site. It also didn't help that when I first initially wanted to join, there was an IP range ban or something that prevented me from doing so. Yeah, I know it helps keep people from hopping onto a different computer and making themselves a new account to avoid the ban, but I still thought it was an inconvenience at the time. I did get my account months later when I remembered, but I was more meh about it. Bad first impression I guess.

Because DeviantART has strict policies on Copyright. At least that's one of the reasons why I, and most people, joined SheezyArt in the first place.

I'm a member of DA ...for now. Don't really enjoy it that much so I'm looking what else is there and today I ended up here. Maybe someone should tell me why to stay here and never go back to DA ever again

I am on both Sheezy and DA!
Stupid Ohio and its laws that require filter on all library computers forced me to get a sheezy.(I use library computers for EVERYTHING since my family's too cheap to get one of our own.>>'And no library access to DA, no access to DA period for Yugil!)
I absolutely loathe not being able to get on my DA. It sucks. I can't keep in contact with my friends there...though I have somehow managed to keep in contact with PhantomPhanatic over email.xD
I haven't really had issues with anything, I've just had circumstances beyond my control rip me away from there.>>
I like DA.^^ Even though I didn't have a subscription or anything, I still enjoyed it, even though I only had a good 40 or so watchers, and only a one or two people I talked to regularly there, and couldn't post to much due to the fact I don't have regular access to a scanner either.xD
I miss my little DA bubble.:(

The people I was talking about were more people couldn't keep their poorly photographed/drawn dicks and boobs, revamped sonic sprites, and scores of crappy traced or freehanded anime to themselves. Sheezy is like DA's spittoon in regards to that.

I'm also on sheezy and DA. Well, I just joined sheezy last night so I'm getting to used it. I think both sites are great actually. They both have pros and cons, but they're still both great. I wouldn't mind using both at all so far :)

Sheezyart is for dysfunctional trolls who couldn't deal with Deviantart's nazi mods and wanted to come to a slightly-less despotic "art" community. It was soon invaded by a slew of 12 year old boys and 16 year old girls who turned it into Myspace.

The only reason I'm still in SA because half the community still has brains, pageloads are significantly faster, it's easier to get noticed and criticized upon (sometimes by honest to God critics and sometimes by faggots bashing art), and it allows music. DA... I'm not much of an art person. But if DA starts supporting music and manages page rendering elements, I'm going to seriously reconsider my spot here.

I would probably still be using dA if I didn't get lifetime-banned.
The fact of the matter is that dA is a corporate whore now. They make you surrender any and all copyright of everything you upload to deviantART inc., which really really goes against the grain, so I wouldn't be submitting anything of worth there anyway.
I definately prefer sheezy - let's just hope it never goes corporate like dA.
