I think I might get the ball rolling and start this off by asking you all; which of the Metal Gear games do you think is the best out of the whole series, and why?
Personally... I've totally fallen for MGS3. I just thought the story, and the characters were really well done!
Big Boss had officially become my favourite character of all time, and it was cool to see young Ocelot. He's changed so much, and I'm not just talking about in looks.
I dunno about you guys, but that was one of the only games that's actually gripped me the whole way till the end.

I really like the third one as well. I liked how you could focus more on blending in with your environment. I love the metal gear solid series mostly because of its sense of humor. They made the game stunning and thrilling and then would throw you the funniest joke or scene. I also liked in the first game when you fight the pshyic dude and you actually have to switch the controller to the player 2 slot. That was so awesome. I also liked in the second game while Raiden was running around naked that the game actually tried to tell you to turn the system off. I tell you, I almost did! I also thought it was pretty funny that Raiden had to run around naked and he would catch cold every now and then. Very funny. The whole series did a wonderful job of making the game serious but allowed just the right amount of humor to keep you laughing every time you think about the incident.

In the second MGS game while you're playing Snake on the tanker you will encounter a locker room. In the upper left corner of this particular locker room is a locker with the poster of an Asian girl with black underwear. If you go to this locker, go into first person view and stare at the poster for at least 20 seconds you can get a secret conversation. After staring at it for 20 sec. go to your Codec. You'll see Snake with a very amusing face and heavy breathing. Otacon will say something like, "Snake, this is not the time." That's right folks, he's jacking off.
In MGS3 while you're in one of the buildings (I can't remember which one) you can find a hidden camouflage. Since I can't remember which one just check all the restroom stales by kicking the stales doors down. The hidden camouflage should be in the last stall closest to the wall. This camouflage will put you in the negative for your blending meter because it makes you very stinky. So stinky you have flies buzzing around you.
Also in MGS3, if you kill The End when you first see him near the water you won't have to fight him later. But be sure you have full health. When you shot him he explodes and will severely damage your health.
Also in MGS3, if you kill any of the enemies starting with The with just your tranquilizer gun you get their camouflage after you defeat them.

Gameplay wise I like Portable Ops, It has almost endless gameplay length
Story wise it has to be Metal Gear Solid 1, the story was simpler and the rivalry between Solid and Liquid is the best throughout the series

Honestly Three is awesome and it has the massive vampire killing minigame.
To get it save after you get tortured then turn your system off turn it back on and you'll be in snake's dream of vampires.
