The slow motion "Motion Sculpture" movement is ideal for gesture drawing. So bring your pads, your charcoal, your paints. Teachers bring your classes. The installation runs for six hours continuously.

The stained glass window and painted ceiling of the Metro Baptist Church provides a warm, intimate setting for "Gold Leaf". During this six hour Motion Sculpture installation, four dancers, costumed in exotic sari fabrics, softly spin a web of gold leaves and thread throughout the space. The mystical music of the South Asian influences "Joyful Sonic Wash" fills the atmosphere, featuring sounds of sitar and tabla with electronics and invented instruments. The sweet smell of spices hangs in the air as tea and Indian sweets are served. this installation reflects the season, with Autumn colors and leaves creating a rich vibrancy and soft glow. It is a meditation of warmth, exotic mysticism and healing energy created through movement, sound, color, smell, taste, and ritual.

There is a "PAY PER VIEW" system in which the audience can arrive and leave at any time. Upon arriving they will receive a ticket with the time on it and upon leaving they with be charged as follows:

UP TO ONE HOUR - $10
ONE TO FOUR HOURS - $15
OVER FOUR HOURS - $5
STAY ALL SIX HOURS - FREE!
