Right.. your most recent poll on dubbed Bleach angered me as I couldn't put forth my frustration at all of dubbed anime. As some of you will be aware and the rest of you should be, with most/some dubbing of anime comes scene cutting (Before you all open your mouths, i said MOST/SOME) as the dubbing is normally done by a company who wants to air it on a none Japanese tv station, which (normally) does not allow blood to be splashed or oozed in drawn form anywhere on their station. If you are new to anime, reply on tv to provide you with your intake of anime and live in the U.K, well your basicly f**kd as nerly all of U.K aired anime is dubbed and cut. I have watched all the episodes of Bleach, Naruto, FMA, etc etc with subs and once I got my head around the read, look, read, look thing, I found it far more fun to watch in subs that in dubs as there's blood and swearing w00t! I know I might sound pathetic as such but try watching the first 10 episodes of Naruto of Bleach with subs, then watch them with english dubs, half the story is missing and it jumps from one part of the story to another...

Basicly I'm saying down with dubs!! Whats wrong with you... can't you read... don't you like blood and swearing god dammit people!

good point, theres no point ruining a perfectly good anime through cutting and shitty voice actorsl. everbody should just rebel against dubed anime in the UK and errr.. write very stern complaint letters... yeh... =S

I'm sorry if the poll upset you in any way.
Well Naruto was a let down I totally agree on that one; but the Bleach one is doing pretty good (could've been better but still good). You kinda have to try and understand that people sound when they speak a different language, like when I speak Chinese it's in a pitch a lot higher than when I speak English-- so the dub VA's won't be like the originals. I try and keep an open mind about the dubs since the translation in anime also have to fit the lip-synch that's already in the anime in Japanese and that English words almost never match up with the Japanese words along with the need of interpretation of honoriffics. As for cuts, they happen- you can't ruin an anime, the originals are always there in Japanese. But cuts are only really evident in the Televised versions, they sell uncut versions too. So far from what I've seen is that the Bleach dub hasn't cut out anything, at least from what I remember, the OP and ED are still the same- only difference is that I can read the credits. But everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and I completely understand your point of view.

I don't know if you noticed, but Bleach is on at 12:30am so no kid is going to watch it, and the blood wasn't edited out. I agree they shouldn't edit things like that in other animes, but they do. I am a hard core japanese Bleach fan and I only saw clips of Bleach on TV. But i saw enough to say they didn't edit the blood. I don't think i'll watch much of it anyway, probably just to see if they did good dubs for certain characters. I don't think being a diligent english watcher is smart, since it is already out in Japan. Why watch reruns?

We have Cartoon Network here but they don't really do much anime at all only stuff like one piece. They should show more things like uncut Bleach and Naruto on UK tv as I'm sure there would be a huge market for it but noooooo!

yeah revolt, then get angry people...anime doesn't have to be huge to be amazing. I like it more when it isn't on television.

I like watched the subbed episodes instead of staying up late just to watch it in English. x:
Really in my opinion, the US killed Renji. . .they gave him an annoying voice actor. I stayed up excited to hear what Renji sounded like just to be dissappointed.
I really hope that the other shinigami of the Gotei 13 don't get bad voice actors. D:
No offense to those who like the dubbed episodes, I'm used the subbed versions better.
