Hey all!
I don't know if all of you know, but there are a few spots in World of Warcraft that house old structures from Warcraft II and III (and maybe even I?)
But I thought we'd share locations if you know of any! (Especially Alliance ones since I know of none hahaha)
The ones I know are:
Altar of Storms
In the Burning Steppes and Blasted Lands there are two Altars of Storms remaining from the Second War, which were (for those who didn't play the WoW precursors) the Old Horde's building that enabled the training of Ogre Mages and several spells. The Altar of Storms used in Warcraft III were different than these in the Steppes and Blasted Lands in terms of design and considering they summoned New Horde heros, not ogres.
The Dark Portal
The Portal that Gul'dan opened allowing the old Horde to invade Azeroth is still standing, and you can go see it in all its evil majesty by visiting the Blasted Lands! But be advised, it's swarming with high level elite demons.

Hehe, it took a bit of thinking, but aside from those two that you mentioned, I know:
Altar of Storms
In Desolace, there is an area with this complicated name that I can't remember (Although, it's in the central/southern part of the map) and there is an Altar of Storms in there. As well, there's a bunch of demonic figurines there that may be related to Warcraft II somehow.
Shrine of Azshara
In Blackfathom Deeps, infront of the final bosses chamber, there is a giant statue in the center surrounded by four candles (That have some insignifanct significance). If any people remember, in the Expansion of Warcraft III, you can play as Naga, and their Altar (I believe, it might be their town hall) is that exact Shrine.
So yeah.

hmmm... damn you... you took all the best ones to think of...
Well... here goes...
Ancient of Lore
In Warcraft 3, these trees summoned the Dryads, Mountain Giants, and Druids of the Claw. In WoW, i beleive you can find 1 in Darkshore, 1 in Darnassus (I think), and 1 in Dire Maul... i think...
Crypt
In Warcraft 3, you used these buiding to summon Ghouls, Crypt Fiends, and Gargoyles. In WoW, when you make an undead character, you start inside of a crypt. There are also other crypts scattered through the world.
Graveyard
In Warcraft 3, this building provided the upgrades for armor and weapons for the undead army. It also generated corpses for the army to use. In WoW, When you die you can choose to ressuract at the graveyard with the Spirit Healer (who looks alot like Tyrael IMO(Diablo Universe)). The biggest and coolest graveyard in WoW i must say is the one in Duskwood at Raven Hill i think its called.

Just recalled another one!
If you've been to the Plaguelands you probably recognized the
Ziggurats!
They're mostly in the Plaguewood and Stratholme, but there are a few others scattered around EPL, and they were (and still are) used by the Scourge as deensive buildings, however the ones you can visit in World of Warcraft don't attack you, just what's inside.
Slaughter House
Inside of Stratholme, an instance in Eastern Plaguelands, on the dead side if you tilt your camera up before entering the building to fight the Baron, you'll notice that the building resembles the Slaughter Houses built by the Scourge in WCIII. This was where you trained Abominations, so it's a smart building choice considering the area infront of it is swamped with them!

Okay I concur with Raem I wish there was an edit button because I also remember another one
Sacrificial Pit
In Plaguewood in the Eastern Plaguelands there are 2 or 3 Platforms with green torches around it. These are the same Sacrificial Pits used by the Scourge in Warcraft III.

Doy! Those are the most obvious ones! Can't believe I didn't think of them.
Light's Hope Chapel
Yup, a classic looking Town Hall, if I do say so myself.
Mannoroth
In the Valley of Spirits there's a giant statue (Or it might be him himself) of Mannorath and his armor.

Oooo i remembered a couple!
Goblin Workshop
If i recall correctly, in the town of Ratchet in WoW, theres the building that looks alot like the Goblin workshop in warcraft 3 where you hired Shredders, Zepplines, or Goblin Sappers "MUAHAHAH! KAMIKAZE!".
Skull of Guldan
If your able to find your way into Hyjal in WoW, and you explore a bit, you can find a giant... thing... that imo, looks like the skull of guldan in which Illidan consumed to become more powerful/demonic. ATM the skull looks like the entance to Onyxia's Lair. and since im speaking of hyjal...
Archimonde
If your able to get into Hyjal, and do some exploring, you can find the giant bones of the Mighty Archimonde right under the world tree.
World Tree
In Hyjal lies the World Tree, that Archimonde tried to absorb and blah blab blah.
