Why does God hate gays?

God doesn't hate gays. God loves everyone.

However, the Bible has referred to homosexuality, among other sins, as "detestable."

God had created man and woman in marriage to "be fruitful and decrease in number."

As with other sins, homosexuality is a choice.

Taken from ChristianAnswers.Net:
"Three main studies are cited by "gay rights" activists in support of their argument2%u2014Hamer's X-chromosome research,3 LeVay's study of the hypothalamus,4 and Bailey and Pillard's study of identical twins who were homosexuals.5

In all three cases, the researchers had a vested interest in obtaining a certain outcome because they were homosexuals themselves. More importantly, their studies did not stand up to scientific scrutiny by other researchers. Also, "the media typically do not explain the methodological flaws in these studies, and they typically oversimplify the results".6 There is no reliable evidence to date that homosexual behavior is determined by a person's genes."

Homosexuality is a huge sin, (not to categorize sins) not only because it perverts God's plan for us, but because it is also a sin against the body, which is meant to be the Temple of the Living God.

God doesn't hate gays, he just hates the decisions that they make.

i agree with sw2k, God doesn't hate gays, He doesn't hate anyone, but it is sinning against the body which is a Temple of God, which reminds me of Jesus dieing on the cross and earlier saying "I will destroy the temple and rebuild it in three days" when the people were thinking about the actual temple He was actually refering to His body. And that really has nothing to do with homosexuality does it? just keep in your mind that God doesnt hate gays, but he doesn't like you being gay.
